Along side Computex, Synology showcased its latest data protection, management, and surveillance solutions at the Synology Solution Exhibition 2024.

The event featured three new product lines: ActiveProtect data protection appliances, the GS series scale-out data storage platform, and Synology C2-powered cloud cameras.

ActiveProtect Data Protection Appliances

ActiveProtect simplifies deployment and management, allowing organizations to set up and secure their data against ransomware in under 10 minutes. It manages up to 2,500 deployments with global immutability and retention policies, featuring a revamped backup engine and source-side global deduplication.

GS Series Scale-out Data Storage Platform

The GS series offers a scalable architecture supporting up to 96 nodes and 20 PB of raw storage. It handles up to 150,000 concurrent connections, simplifying management and ensuring non-disruptive operations and data integrity.

C2 Surveillance Station

C2 Surveillance Station, paired with C2 cameras, offers secure cloud video surveillance with end-to-end encryption. Quick to deploy, these cameras enhance monitoring in challenging environments.

The standalone C2 Surveillance Station will launch later in 2024, with the existing hybrid service rebranded to C2 Backup for Surveillance.

Additional Highlights

Synology also introduced the AI Console for centralized management and Synology Tiering for data optimization. New surveillance additions include the fisheye camera FC600, variable zoom camera BC800Z, and support for various third-party devices.
