Alleged GeForce GTX 1060 Spotted
The GTX 1060 made rounds at reddit today as one redditor shared an alleged image of what appears to be the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060. The picture has been taken at Hong Kong, possibly inside a well known computer center located at the country based on the bag where the card has been placed.
From the looks of it, the GTX 1060 features an identically designed shroud comparable to the Founders Edition style-wise but with less metal and more plastic. The PCB also appears to be shorter, with the cooler extending the card by inches. The card also features a DVI port which should be accompanied by an HDMI and DisplayPort.
The card is rumored to be Nvidia’s ace at the mid-range price bracket, and it should be fighting the soon to be released AMD Radeon RX 480. Those are based on rumors, and if that is so, there is a huge price gap between the GTX 1060 and the GTX 1070, allowing us to speculate that there will be a GTX 1060 Ti in the near future.
