Lexar, made its wave at Computex 2024 with its impressive lineup of new products, including internal SSDs, DRAM, portable SSDs, memory cards, and other innovative storage offerings.
Lexar Professional and Play SSDs
Lexar has unveiled four new internal SSDs at the show. This includes the Professional NM1090 which is an actively cooled PCIe 5.0 SSD. Lexar also showed the Professional NM990 and NM980 PCIe 5.0 SSDs along with the Lexar Play 2280 – an SSD for the Sony PlayStation 5.
ARES RGB Memory
The latest iteration of the ARES RGB DDR5 Desktop Memory series features premium SK Hynix DRAM chips with the “Lexar Empowered by SK Hynix” certification. Key specifications include speeds up to 8000 MT/s along with customizable RGB lighting.
Portable SSDs
The SL400 Portable SSD is also a highlight of Lexar this year. This portable SSD is specifically designed for smartphone content creators, featuring 1,050 MB/s read and 1,000 MB/s write speeds – along with an IP65 rating and a drop resistance of up to 1 meter.
If that is not enough, Lexar also offers the ARMOR 700, featuring an IP66 rating and could withstand drops of up to 3 meters.
Memory Cards
Lexar’s specialty lies in their memory cards and they have a lot – just like last year’s Computex. Shown this year are the PLAY PRO microSDXC, Professional SDXC, Professional DIAMOND CFexpress 4.0 Type B, and the ARMOR GOLD SD UHS-II V60 cards.
