ASUS at Computex 2024 had just unveiled the ROG Azoth Extreme keyboard.
The ROG Azoth Extreme is a feature-rich mechanical keyboard, with a CNC-milled all-aluminum body.
It also comes with a carbon fiber positioning plate on top of its silicon and foam layers – promising a superior typing experience with enhanced acoustics and reduced vibrations.
For additional comfort during gaming sessions, the ROG Azoth Extreme includes an extended silicone wrist rest as well.
Customization Options
The ROG Azoth Extreme caters to those who prioritizes personalization with hot-swappable ROG NX mechanical switches – all pre-lubed for smooth and responsive keystrokes.
This allows a tailored typing feel to preferences by easily replacing the switches with others of choice. It is also possible to adjust the dampening factor of the keyboard by flicking a switch behind its decorative plate.
Additionally, the ROG Azoth Extreme comes with a full-color OLED touchscreen, perfect for displaying system information or for quick access to customized macros. Like its predecessor, a three-way control knob provides additional control over settings and functions.
Performance and Compatibility
The ROG Azoth Extreme offers tri-mode connectivity, allowing gamers to choose between a wired USB connection, low-latency 2.4 GHz wireless, or Bluetooth.
Combined with a polling rate accelerator, the ROG SpeedNova technology ensures smooth and responsive performance in wireless mode, even reaching an incredible polling rate of up to 8,000 Hz.

ASUS has yet to reveal the official pricing for the ROG Azoth Extreme. However, the keyboard is expected to hit store shelves sometime in Q3 2024.
